About me

I'm a leadership development specialist, qualified teacher, coach, and trainer with a deep commitment to helping people grow into the leaders they’re meant to be. With over two decades of experience, I’ve supported leaders at every stage of their journey – from first-time managers to seasoned executives – across sectors including education and utilities.

Before launching my own training and coaching practice, I held senior management roles where I led teams, shaped strategy, and experienced first-hand the challenges and opportunities that come with leading people. That lived experience fuels my practical, grounded approach to development.

I hold a Master’s degree in Psychology, where I focused on topics such as imposter syndrome, misinformation, and the psychological factors that influence team and organisational performance. This academic grounding complements my real-world experience and allows me to bring deeper insight into the mindset and behaviours that drive success.

As a qualified DISC practitioner, I specialise in helping people leaders build confidence, strengthen communication, and lead with clarity. My sessions – whether one-to-one or group-based – are interactive, supportive, and built on mutual trust. I don’t do “tick-box” training. I care deeply about my delegates, and I’m known for creating spaces where people feel safe to explore, challenge themselves, and grow. I have delivered ILM leadership and management qualifications reaching thousands of aspiring managers, helping them to evolve into competent, confident and caring leaders.
